Branch Tech Recruitment has partnered with an innovative startup who are on a mission to revolutionise how businesses view their carbon emissions – this small but high-performing team has been tasked with securing themselves a technical revolutionary to join them on their crusade for bringing the technical industry into the age of green and clean energy. As the team hit more and more targets on their several-year roadmaps, they’re needing a Python developer to join them on a permanent and remote basis.
The Ideal Candidate
The perfect candidate will be a technologist with expertise in Python development. We’re a small team in our startup phase and naturally, we’re looking for someone who can match our own energy in seeing our vision expand across the globe; therefore someone with previous startup experience would be beneficial. Prior experience as a technical leader in a business would be highly desired as you will be leading a team of developers in designing and implementing high-quality and complex software solutions.
Requirements
– Proven experience as a Python Lead Developer or a similar role.
– Excellent knowledge of Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, AWS, and CI/CD.
– Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members and prior experience building a small team.
– Familiarity with frontend frameworks like VueJS would be a nice bonus.
– Experience and comfortable working on a remote basis and working in a fast-paced environment.
